Get macro suggestions

See which macros your team used on similar tickets, right in the macro menu.

When you open the macro menu on a ticket, the Suggested macros at the top are the ones your team applied on similar tickets.

How it works

  1. ChaosDesk finds similar tickets by searching for the keywords of the ticket’s subject, within the tickets you are allowed to see.
  2. It counts which macros were applied on those tickets.
  3. The macros used on the most similar tickets come first, with a note such as “Used on 12 similar tickets”.

Only macros you are allowed to use are suggested. No AI model is involved, and nothing is sent outside ChaosDesk.

Apply a suggestion

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+M (or Cmd+M on a Mac), or choose Macros.
  2. Pick a suggested macro.
  3. Review the staged changes and submit.

No suggestions?

Suggestions need history. A new workspace, a ticket with a very short subject, or macros nobody has used yet give an empty list. The menu still shows all your macros.
